ReDefine has contributed to the VFX work for season 7, the final season of the show which will bring it to a total of 100 episodes across all seven seasons.
ReDefine’s contribution to the final season involved a range of visual effects work, including complex FX work and a range of CG environment extensions.
“We were excited to deliver VFX work for a number of episodes in the final season of The 100, including the series finale which brought this wildly popular science fiction series to a close,” said Serkan Zelzele, VFX Supervisor, ReDefine Montreal.
“The challenges were unique to each episode – from complicated FX work to futuristic matte paintings, from celestial comps to full-CG environments. One of the most notable challenges was creating the ascended light people, which involved some intense Houdini FX work combined with some cool comp enhancement.”
